We invite you for an exciting day fishing the great spring run!!  This is always one of the most popular trips we sail, so be sure to book your spot to guarantee a spot at the rail. This trip is great for the kids as we really focus on providing the most action possible for all fare onboard. 

Here are the possibilities for this trip:

• Humpback Porgies -  Porgies are delicious eating and when cleaned and prepared by our expert crew, you will have nice, light, flakey white meat fillets to cook up however you would like. They also put up a great fight and the kids love reeling them in!
• Sea Bass- These are a beautiful, colorful, fun to catch and best of all delicious to eat!  ( Season opens June 23 for sea bass )
• Bluefish- are a ton of fun to catch and are known to be a great fighting fish.
• Weakfish - these are always a special bonus.  The are usually by catch, but always a crowd favorite when they show up!

  From beginner to expert, Grandpa to the grandkids, hardcore angler to beginners, All are Welcome aboard the Celtic Fleet!

How does the trip work?

Based on the latest tides and conditions, the captain will decide how to best split up the day.   This is a great way to really maximize the fishing time and dramatically increase your catch for the day.  

Some trips we only target one type of fishing, but other trips we are able to target multiple types of fish.  These decisions are made by the captain on the day of the trip based on the latest tides and conditions. 

All Rods, Bait and Tackle are included with this trip for both types of fishing!  Just bring your food, drinks, small cooler to take your fillets home for dinner. 

We will be happy to tie up the best rigs for you onboard.

What Is Not Included?

•  Tip for the crew for their services ( It is customary in our industry to tip the crew just as you would a server or bartender 20%)  Our crew work incredibly hard and provide some of the highest quality services in our entire industry.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated by our crew.


•  Food and drinks are not included.  We do have vending machines onboard with snacks and drinks. Please, by all means, bring your lunch and beverages if you would like.  **Beer and wine are permitted.  No hard alcohol though please.**
